This will bring you back to the Course Overview page.
The summary will show you item by item how your class performed on Subjective and Objective Data Collection. You'll also see a national average per item, if you are interested in this benchmark. The national average updates as students across the country complete the Shadow Health assignments. This button may not be visible if your instructor has chosen not to share these with you.
This will load the last In Progress attempt that you have worked on. If you do not see the Continue Last Attempt button, then you do not have any In Progress attempts. This means you have not yet started an attempt, or all of your attempts are completed.
This will load a brand new attempt of an assignment. If you have work in another attempt, regardless of whether that attempt is In Progress or Completed, then this new attempt will not contain any of that work. If you are wanting to open on an attempt that you were previously working on, you should click the Continue Last Attempt instead.
This message will display on any assignment that your instructor sets to allow you to reopen. Reopening a completed attempt marks a Completed attempt as In Progress and allows you to go back into the assignment to add work to it. If you do not see this message, then your instructors have opted to not allow you to reopen your completed attempts.
This message explains what your instructors have chosen for a Turn In option for this assignment.
The Open Date is the the date and time when you will begin to be able to start new attempts for an assignment.
The Due Date is the date and time your instructor has put in Shadow Health for when the assignment should be completed. This Due Date is not the ultimate indication of when your instructor wants your work completed for your course itself (ex. if your instructor extends the due date for the assignment, the date in Shadow Health does not update automatically). After the Due Date, you will still be able to start new attempts and finish In Progress attempts. After the Due Date, you will not be able to reopen Completed attempts or mark another attempt as Turned In. Any attempts completed after the due date will show as “Completed (Late)” or “Reviewed (Late)”. Late attempts are not graded any differently in Shadow Health.
This will open a PDF of the Objectives and Instructions for this assignment, which give you general tips and explain the purpose of the assignment.
This will show all of the attempts you have created for a given assignment. The status shows whether or not an attempt has been finished or not. Below are all of the possible statuses you may see:
- In Progress
- The attempt is not submitted and currently does not have a score
- The attempt is submitted and a score is not available
- Your instructor has provided feedback on the completed attempt
- This will be next to the status of any attempt that was submitted after the due date
- This means the attempt was reopened at one point after it was submitted the first time.
These are the options that can be taken on attempts
- Completed Attempts
- In progress Attempts
- Close - Will only appear if an In Progress attempt has been Reopened
This section will show each part of the assignment and provide an explanation of what that activity involves.
This will show any comments your instructor has given to your entire course for this assignment. This comment section does not include any comments your instructors have given on your individual attempts.
